PVC Conveyor Rollers
Lightweight PVC conveyor rollers that shrug off water, chemicals and rust. Rigid PVC tubes with polymer end caps on steel shafts — gravity and sprocket driven versions, grey, blue or white, made to your frame drawing.
The low-friction, low-noise roller for light lines. A rigid PVC tube rolls easier than steel, never rusts and does not mark the goods it carries — which is why PVC rollers are the default on parcel lines, sorting tables and anywhere the conveyor meets water, salts or mild chemicals.
Every roller runs on a steel shaft inside polymer end caps, so the frame sees a light, quiet roller that drops straight in. Choose the plain version for gravity conveyor, or the sprocket-driven version for chain-powered lines. Diameter, length, shaft end and colour follow your specification — send the drawing or the worn roller and we build to match.
Product Overview
Rigid PVC tubes with molded polymer end caps on steel shafts. The tube will not corrode in wet or washdown areas, rolls with less noise than steel, and keeps cartons and totes clean. Sprocket-driven versions carry molded polymer sprockets for chain-powered conveyor — one roller family for both gravity and driven lines.

What the Tube Changes on the Line
Light and Easy to Fit
A PVC tube weighs a fraction of a steel roller of the same size. Lines build faster, rollers swap out one-handed, and the frame carries less dead weight — ideal for light parcels, totes and modular conveyor.
Shrugs Off Water and Chemicals
PVC does not rust and does not need paint or plating. Washdown areas, humid workshops, salt air and mild chemical splash are normal service — the roller just keeps turning.
Quiet and Gentle on Goods
The tube runs quieter than bare steel and never marks cartons, totes or finished surfaces. Coloured covers are available when zones need colour coding at a glance.
Where PVC Conveyor Rollers Are Used
- Parcel, carton and tote gravity conveyor
- Chain-driven conveyor with sprocket rollers
- Washdown, humid and corrosive environments
- Sorting tables and modular light conveyor
- Food-adjacent and clean-surface lines (white tubes)
- Conveyor retrofits and spare-part replenishment
PVC Roller Questions
PVC, PU covered or steel — which roller for my line?
PVC wins where the load is light, the environment is wet or corrosive, and cost matters — it never rusts and rolls quietly. PU covered rollers take heavier daily traffic and protect fragile goods. Steel gravity rollers are the workhorse for dry, general carton duty. Tell us the load, the environment and the speed, and we recommend the material instead of defaulting to one.
Are PVC rollers available with sprockets?
Yes. Sprocket-driven versions carry molded polymer sprockets on the end caps, so the roller runs on chain conveyor as well as gravity lines. Send the chain pitch and position and we match the sprocket layout.
Will a PVC tube carry enough load for my conveyor?
PVC rollers are made for light duty — parcels, totes, cartons and modular lines, not pallet loads. Send the load per roller and the conveyor duty, and we confirm the tube specification before quoting.
What colours can I order?
Grey, blue and white are standard. Coloured covers and end caps are available on request — useful for zone coding, direction coding or matching your equipment. Add the colour requirement to the RFQ.
What do you need to quote a PVC roller?
The tube diameter, length, shaft end type and quantity — plus the drive type (gravity or sprocket) and the environment the line runs in. A drawing or a photo of the worn roller works too. You get a price and lead time within one business day.
Send the Frame Sizes or the Worn Roller
Email the diameter, length and shaft end you need — or a photo of the roller you are replacing. PVC rollers are quoted with packing and lead time, usually within one business day.
