Coal & Ore Mining Conveyor Rollers
Custom high-quality idler rollers for coal, ore and aggregate belt conveyor — built to survive dust, mud splash, humidity and round-the-clock tonnage. Every dimension, seal set and surface finish made to your working condition, factory direct.
The idler roller for the hardest conveying job there is. Coal, ore and aggregate lines run outdoors, around the clock, in dust that finds every bearing. This roller family is engineered around that reality: a Q235 seamless carbon-steel shell on a precision-machined solid steel shaft, deep-groove ball bearings packed with permanent lithium-base grease, and a multi-stage labyrinth sealing system that keeps the abrasive fines out of the bearing chambers.
The standard build carries an 89 mm outer diameter with effective working length made to order from 110 to 1100 mm to match any frame width — and beyond that, diameter, shaft end, colour and finish are all customisable to your drawing. Troughing, impact and return sets are supplied as complete matching batches, so one order dresses the whole conveyor.
Product Overview
Seamless steel shell, solid machined shaft, deep-groove ball bearings with C3 internal clearance and permanent lithium grease filling — low starting torque, quiet running and lower energy draw for the whole line. The core of the design is the multi-stage labyrinth sealing: internal and external labyrinth rings plus dust-proof end caps block dust, mud splash and humid vapour from reaching the bearing chambers, which is what keeps these rollers alive in open-air coal yards where ordinary rollers fail in months.

Built Around Mine Conditions
Labyrinth Sealing Against the Fines
Coal dust is the bearing killer. Multi-stage internal and external labyrinth seals with dust-proof end caps force any ingress through a maze before it reaches the grease — service life is measured in years of shifts, not months.
True Shell, Low Run-Out
Tubes are straightened and trued, shafts precision machined, and each assembly double-end welded for concentricity. Small radial run-out protects the belt from uneven wear and keeps the load steady across the trough.
Sealed Bearings, Permanent Grease
6205 / 6305 deep-groove bearings with C3 clearance run in permanently filled lithium-base grease — no re-greasing rounds on the line, low rotation resistance and quiet running from day one.
Finish for the Environment
Spray paint for standard duty, powder coating for a harder skin, hot-dip galvanizing for humid and open-air yards. Shell colour can follow your site standard — blue, red, black or your spec.
Two Shaft Systems
Spring-loaded quick-release shafts let the crew swap a roller in minutes without dismantling the frame; fixed solid shafts carry the heaviest continuous loads. Mixed sets on one conveyor are no problem.
Custom to the Frame
Diameter, working length, shaft end, seal set, finish and colour are all made to your specification — the listed sizes are the common builds, not a limit. Troughing, impact and return rollers ship as one matched batch.

Mining Roller Questions
Can I order non-standard lengths within 110–1100 mm?
Yes — working length, shaft diameter and shaft-end structure are all made to your conveyor drawing. Non-standard steps are routine work here, not special orders; one roller up and mixed lengths in one shipment are both fine.
What working environment is this roller built for?
Medium to heavy bulk-material conveying in dusty, open-air or humid sites — coal mines, ore quarries, cement plants, ports and stockyards. The multi-stage labyrinth sealing is what separates this roller from a standard light-duty idler: it is designed around coal dust and mud splash.
Spring shaft or fixed shaft — which should I choose?
Spring-loaded quick-release shafts make replacement fast: the roller drops out of the frame without dismantling, which suits long conveyor runs where downtime is expensive. Fixed solid shafts carry the heaviest continuous loads with maximum rigidity. Many lines mix both — tell us the duty and we advise per position.
Can you match the colour and finish to our site standard?
Yes. Spray paint, powder coating and hot-dip galvanizing are all available, in your shell colour — blue, red, black or as specified. Add the finish and colour requirement to the RFQ and it carries through the whole batch.
What do you need to quote a mining roller order?
The outer diameter, working length, shaft type, finish and quantity — plus the material being conveyed and the site environment. A drawing or a photo of the worn roller covers most of it. You get a price and lead time within one business day, factory direct.
Send the Conveyor Drawing or the Worn Roller
Email the diameter, working length, shaft end and finish you need — or photos of the rollers in service. Mining rollers are quoted factory direct with packing and lead time, usually within one business day.
