Steel Roller

Carbon steel and stainless steel rollers machined, ground and balanced to drawing. Bare rollers for web handling, coating lines and conveyor systems.

A steel roller looks simple until it runs at speed. Straightness, journal tolerance and balance decide whether the web tracks cleanly or walks off the edge at 300 m/min.

We machine, grind and balance in house, so the roller arrives with the runout and concentricity stated on the drawing

FAQ

Steel Roller Questions

Do you supply the core only, without covering?

Yes. Bare steel rollers are a standalone product. Many customers buy the core from us and have it covered locally, or buy it here and have us cover it in a second step.

What balancing grade can you hold?

Static balancing as standard, dynamic balancing to G6.3 on request. Tell us the surface speed — above roughly 200 m/min dynamic balancing stops being optional.

Can you match an existing roller without a drawing?

Yes. Send the roller or a dimensioned sketch: outside diameter, face length, journal diameter and length, keyway position and any thread details.

Send the Drawing or the Worn Roller

Email your drawing, the machine model, or photos of the roller you need replaced. You will get a material proposal, a price and a lead time.
