PU Forklift & Pallet Truck Wheels
Red cast polyurethane tread bonded to a machined cast iron hub — the wheel you see under every pallet truck. Nine standard sizes cover load rollers, steering wheels and drive wheels from Ø70 to Ø300 mm, and any size in between is manufactured to your drawing.
Product Overview
Three positions wear out on a pallet truck, and they are not the same wheel. The small load rollers under the forks take the highest load per square centimetre and the roughest surface. The steering wheels take the turning scrub. The drive wheels take the torque. Each gets a different diameter, width and tread hardness here, because a wheel that is right for one position is wrong for another.

Nine Standard Sizes — and Anything Else to Drawing
These nine cover the great majority of pallet truck and forklift positions. Beyond the table the wheel is made to your drawing, from Ø50 to Ø500 mm, with the width, bore and hub you specify.
| Diameter × Width | Type / typical position | Bore |
|---|---|---|
| Ø80 × 70 mm | Drum wheel | 47 mm |
| Ø80 × 70 mm | Flat wheel | 47 mm |
| Ø70 × 60 mm | Load roller | 47 mm |
| Ø80 × 60 mm | Load roller | 47 mm |
| Ø70 × 75 mm | Load roller | 47 mm |
| Ø180 × 50 mm | Steering wheel | 47 mm |
| Ø200 × 50 mm | Steering / drive wheel | 47 mm |
| Ø250 mm (10″) × 50 | Steer / drive wheel | 52 mm |
| Ø300 mm (12″) × 50 | Steer / drive wheel | 52 mm |
| Ø50 – Ø500 mm custom | Any diameter, width and bore — forklifts, vehicles, special equipment | To drawing |
Complete Load Roller Assembly
Load rollers also come as a complete assembly: two PU wheels with the bearings pressed in, carried on the bracket that bolts into the truck's fork frame. Send the bracket measurements, or the worn assembly itself, and we match the wheel size, bearing and mounting holes so the replacement drops straight in.
Load rollers wear three to five times faster than steering wheels on the same truck, so most replacement orders are assemblies or rollers only. Mixed sizes in one shipment are normal.
Durable, Quiet, Heavy Duty
Durable
The cast PU tread resists wear, chunking and flat-spotting under forklift duty cycles, so wheels keep their diameter and ride long after softer compounds would have failed.
Quiet
PU rolls noticeably quieter than steel or nylon on concrete — a real difference in warehouses, workshops and retail floors where the truck works all day.
Heavy Duty
The cast iron hub carries the load path and the bearing seat while the PU takes the surface punishment — each material doing the job it is best at.

Forklift & Pallet Truck Wheel Questions
Which size fits my pallet truck?
Measure the old wheel: outside diameter, width and bore. Ø80 × 60 and Ø80 × 70 mm cover most load roller positions, and Ø180 × 50 mm is the common steering wheel size. If in doubt, send a photo with a ruler in frame and we will read the size off it.
Can you make sizes other than the nine standards?
Yes — multi-size custom manufacturing is the core of this line. Send the diameter, width and bore (or the old wheel), and we manufacture to your drawing. Hub material and tread hardness can be specified as well.
Are bearings included?
The cast iron hub is machined for a standard bearing seat. Tell us the bearing you run, or the bore size, with the RFQ and we confirm the fit before production starts.
Is red the only colour?
Red is the standard and the colour most pallet truck wheels are specified in. Other tread colours are available on request — useful for colour-coding wheel types on a mixed fleet.
Load rollers or steering wheels — what should I stock?
Load rollers. They run the highest load per unit area, sit under the forks and wear first. A typical spares kit is four load rollers to one pair of steering wheels.
